Project Coordinator/Project Manager

Responsibilities:

  • For less complex projects, work independently with the client and consultants on all aspects of the project from inception through construction completion, while communicating effectively with the rest of the team.
  • For more complex projects, assist Project Architect in delivering projects on schedule and within budget while making authoritative decisions and recommendations of significant impact related to the project.
  • Responsible for the technical planning, coordination and execution of all contract documents.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years experience as a Job Captain with emphasis on commercial/institutional buildings working with multi-disciplinary teams. Historic Renovation experience is a plus.
  • B.Arch or M.Arch from a NAAB accredited university program
  • Proficiency in AutoCad or Revit required
  • Proficiency in SketchUp and Photoshop a plus
  • Spec Writing, Cost Estimating & Construction Administration experience a plus
  • LEED Accreditation a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and flexible
  • Able to work in an open and collaborative environment that includes the office puppy.

Project Architect

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the client and consultants on all aspects of a project from inception through construction completion, while communicating effectively with the rest of the team.
  • Maintain the design schedule, design within the construction budget, and conduct quality review of contract documents prior to submission.
  • Attend pre-proposal meetings, take notes and photographs, and contribute to technical and fee proposals.
  • Participate in project selection interviews and project presentations.
  • Communicate project status and issues effectively and in a timely manner with existing clients for project success and to obtain additional work.
  • Communicate firm and personnel qualifications effectively with new clients to obtain additional work.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as Project Architect or ten (10) years’ experience as a Project Manager with emphasis on commercial/institutional buildings working with multi-disciplinary teams. Historic Renovation experience is a plus.
  • Professional Architectural License in Ohio. Other states a plus.
  • Familiarity with the Ohio Building Code.
  • Expertise in preparing project Specifications and Cost Estimates, and administering the project Construction phase.
  • Experience preparing public project statement of qualifications a plus.
  • LEED Accreditation a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and flexible.
  • Able to work in an open and collaborative environment that includes the office puppy.
