Red Lion Methodist Church
Hardlines Design Company (HDC) completed this Phase II study to assess the historic significance of the Red Lion Methodist Church related to the spread of the Methodist denomination in Warren County and also for its architectural potential as an early example of a rural Greek Revival church building.  The building was found eligible under criteria A and C for its role in the social life of nineteenth century Red Lion and as one of the best-preserved examples of Greek Revival antebellum rural church designs in Warren County.
